"A collaboration of creative talents, a movement. Platypus stands for rebellion, pride in your own expression, a creative culture against the mass-produced."
Bursting out from the underbelly of Nottingham, England in 2014 Platypus strives to bring you hand-crafted, limited clothing. Iconic works of art, fit for the streets. Our graphics are bold for people and by people who like to get their hands dirty.
Lovingly designed, printed and packed by us, we practise a DIY ethos and strive to break the mould.
Platypus is more than just a fashion brand. We are both passionate about social change and providing opportunities for creative young people in Nottingham, and throughout the UK. Currently, a portion of sales from our Pride tee goes to Emmanuel House which supports homeless and vulnerable adults in Nottingham.
Platypus believes in Supply chain responsibly, all of the textile manfacturers that we work with are members or affiliates with Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). The FWF is an independent, non-profit organisation that works with companies and factories to improve labour conditions for garment workers. Find out more about the FWF here. To see which of our products comply look for the FWF logo at the bottom of the product page. To find out more about values and aims you find our full Environmental Policy here.
