How much is delivery?
All orders within the UK are FREE DELIVERY by Royal Mail 2nd class post. We ship to Europe for a flat rate of £5 and the rest of the world for £6. This covers us for a bit of packaging and enough stamps to get your delivery safely to your front door, via Royal Mail Second Class post.
*NEW* Reduced rates for pins and patches
Customers ordering pins and patches to Europe and the rest of the world can now benefit from reduced postage rates. Order up to 2 pins and and/or patches for £2.75 delivery to Europe and £3.75 for the rest of the world.
If your order is in Nottingham we may deliver by hand and we can deliver the same day. Please contact us before ordering if you require this.
If you need your order quicker we offer next day services at the checkout.
How long until I get my order?
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receiving them and we will send you an email once your order is dispatched. Royal Mail usually take between 2-4 working days to arrive.
Can I get my items faster?
If you just can’t wait to get your new swag, we offer next day delivery for orders placed before 1 pm, simply select express delivery at the checkout. This service is provided by Royal Mail Special Delivery at a cost of £8 - on orders under £100*.
Please note: Next day delivery service is only available Monday to Friday.

My order hasn't arrived yet?
Your order should have reached you within 5 working days in the UK.
If you haven’t received it after 7 working days please let us know and we will open a case with Royal Mail.
If you’re in Europe please allow 10 working days for your order to reach you and if you’re ordering from the rest of the work allow 15 working days. Delivery at peak times such as Christmas may take longer.
Please note, working days do not include weekends.
We hope you have a positive experience shopping with Platypus, but if you are not completely satisfied for any reason simply get in touch with us to tell us why and we will resolve this for you. You can always return the item to us in its original condition within 30 days.
You can open up the packaging to look at and try on the products as you would in any store, however, please remember that you have a legal obligation to take care of the products while you have them.
To return your order and request an exchange or refund please contact us or email Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to quote your order number as the subject and reason for return in the message. If you require a refund we will credit the original product cost less any delivery costs. If you request an exchange we will send a replacement free of charge*, upon receipt of the returned item.

The returning of your product to us, including the cost of the postage, is your responsibility and we advise you to use a service which insures the value of the product.
When returning an item to us please include a cover note which details your order number, name, the reason for return and whether you require a refund or exchange. We don’t require the original packaging however we do ask that returned items are unworn and in a sellable condition.
What if my product has a fault?
In the rare event of a product being damaged or faulty, you can get in touch quickly and easily by using the Contact Us form. Please ensure you quote your order number and description of the fault so we can assist you with the exchange process. Upon receiving the item from you, we will examine the product and process a full refund or suitable replacement within 7 working days.
