How can I pay?
We gladly accept all major debit and credit card types as payment, or you can also pay via Paypal Express Checkout.
If you don’t have a card or can’t pay electronically we also accept cheques and Postal Orders. Please contact us directly with your order and we will send you a payment address. Please note we will dispatch your order once the payment has cleared.
Do I have to create an account to shop with you?
No. We're pretty relaxed and won't force you to have an account with us. However creating an account does have its benefits. Apart from speed and convenience when shopping, membership entitles you to exclusive discounts during new product lanches and events. You will also be the first to know about any exciting free giveaways we are running. Your feedback and support is very valuable to us, so why not treat you to some free stuff on us.
Like most people, we are not big fans of receiving spam and run a strict anti-spam policy at Platypus. We keep marketing emails sent to you to the minimum. You can choose to opt-out of accepting marketing when creating your account and can change your mind at any point through your account settings.
How much is shipping?
Free delivery applies on orders within the UK. Otherwise shipping is charged at a flat rate of £4 for Europe and the USA and £5 for the rest of the World. For more information about our shipping services please click here.
How long will it take?
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receiving them. Orders are sent via Royal Mail but please allow 5 working days in the UK and up to 20 working days outside the UK. Click for more information about our Delivery Services. At peak times such as Christmas delivery times may be longer.
How do I know what size I need?
Check our size guides! Although we have kept all sizing as standard as possible some products do vary slightly. Please check before ordering to ensure your size. We will always exchange items for a different size so long as they are kept in a sellable condition. Check size guides here.
I've received my order, but have changed my mind, Can I return or exchange it?
Not a problem! Sometimes we change our minds, maybe it was the wrong size. You can open the packaging to look at and try on the products, like you would in store. However, they must remain in sellable condition. Please see our full Returns Policy for further information on what to do next.
Can you help me with my promotional code?
You need to enter an active discount code exactly as it is stated on the promotion material you have (flyer, voucher, email, social media etc.) The code must be all caps and contain no spaces. After clicking "Place your order" on the Cart page, you can then type or paste your code into the Discount box and click apply. (See Image Below) Once applied, you'll see the promo value and the total of your order will change to reflect the code entered.
Can I use more than one promo code?
Sorry bud, but life doesn't work that way.
I've lost my gift voucher, can I have a replacement?
Yes of course, please contact us directly with your circumstances and we will be able to send you a replacement code.

How secure is your store, are my details safe?
HTTPS is highly secure. It is good consumer practice when shopping anywhere online, to always look out for the green padlock symbol in the address bar. It confirms the site had a valid SSL certificate and your connection to the server is encrypted. (Like ours is!)
Our payments are processed by Shopify Payments, using technology powered by Stripe. Paypal uses industry-leading technology, fraud detection tools and both physical and electronic security to keep your information secure. You’re in safe hands!
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. We NEVER share these details with third parties.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your device’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information about your browser and operating system.
